This is a well-known brand that has been around from the beginning of the e-cig days. I like that they keep things simple. You’ll see later in my review what I mean by that – they don’t have the wide variety of kits that other brands do, in fact they only have one kit for sale, but they know what they do well and stick to it. A really reliable brand where you know what you’re getting, and at the low prices they offer it’s no wonder why they’ve been around all these years.
You also get free shipping on all orders at Smoke Tip as well as a lifetime warranty on their products, so this is a brand you can trust. With all the crazy marketing and space-age technologies, each brand trying to “one-up” each other, it’s kind of refreshing to see a no-frills brand that just sets out to get the job done.
SmokeTip Electronic Cigarettes Review
As mentioned earlier, there isn’t anything to choose from. They have one kit, but it’s a solid offering and comes with everything you’ll need to start vaping. It’s simple enough for a novice to figure out, but is a quality product that any veteran will enjoy. Their kit is sold for $59.95 and comes with the following:
- 2 batteries
- 5 flavor cartridges
- USB charger
- wall adapter
- gift box packaging
You get to choose your flavor and nicotine strength with the 5 cartridges you receive in this kit, with 21 different tastes to choose from – three different tobacco blends, two menthols, almond, apple, banana, blueberry, cherry, chocolate, cinnamon, clove, coffee, grape, orange, peach, peppermint, pineapple, strawberry, vanilla and watermelon. Each is available in zero nicotine, ultra light (6 mg), light (12 mg) and full flavor (16 mg) strength.
I tried out a few of the above — the regular tobacco, banana, blueberry and one of the menthols — and was really impressed with all of them. I always like to try a traditional tobacco blend from each brand I try out to get an “apples to apples” comparison from brand to brand, and Smoke Tip did not disappoint. I can say the same about the other three flavors I tried, and am definitely going to try out a few of their other cartridge flavors on my next purchase. Rich taste and a smooth draw of vapor every time.
Each individual cartridge lasts around the equivalent of 25 cigarettes, or around 1.25 packs of traditional cigarettes. You can buy them in 10-packs for $19.95, and get an even better deal when buying in bulk. Buy 2 10-packs and get them for $18.95 each, 3 for $17.95 each, or buy 5 or more and get them for $15.95 each. With each individual cartridge being equal to more than a pack of regular cigarettes, you can do the math on the savings you’ll make by switching to e-cigs. No-brainer!
They also have some other specials to sweeten the deal when buying cartridges. Buy 3 packs and get a free battery, buy 6 packs and get a free battery, wall adapter and USB charger, and if you buy 10 packs you get a free starter kit ($59.95 value).
There’s a few other items available at Smoke Tip including disposable e-cigarettes. These are single-use electronic cigarettes that you simply throw away when they run out. No need to worry about having to recharge the battery, they’re great to have when “on the go.” They also sell an electronic cigar, a number of charging accessories, carrying cases, portable charging cases, lanyards, cleaning kits and other items to really amplify your e-cig experience.
While they don’t have all the bells and whistles of other brands – one look at their very simple website will give you that impression right away – Smoke Tip knows their place and pumps out a solid product without the bravado. It’s nice to see, and it’s become a trusted brand of mine after trying out their products and definitely worth a look if you’re on a budget. Still, I’m still loyal to some of my top recommendations. For those on a budget, Bull Smoke is another great choice with their Ranch Hand Kit for $30, and V2 Cigs remains my top all-around recommendation for everything e-cigs.
